My Story
Hi, I'm MaryAnn - IIN Health Coach and NASM Certified Personal Trainer with a specialization in prenatal and postnatal performance training. As a mother myself, to two beautiful girls, I've experienced first-hand the recovery process of the postpartum period and how having kids makes creating the time to maintain one's health and wellness seem near impossible at times. It's been a beautiful, messy, imperfect journey, but I've learned a lot along the way. My personal struggles with low back pain and diastasis recti postpartum prompted my specialization in pre and postnatal training. It was my client's inquisitions surrounding weight loss and body composition, however, that made my decision to become a health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.

My Approach
My approach to health and fitness is holistic, sustainable and individualized. Being fit is not just about exercising. Nutrition, sleep, hormones and more, all play a part in one's health and wellness. That can seem overwhelming for some. But the truth is small, sustainable shifts can add up to life-changing results. To feel confident in your body, to have energy to play with your kids as you age, to heal your core after giving birth, these things take time, and honestly they are an ongoing effort. That is why it is imperative that your action plan is sustainable. Finally, women are bio-individuals, meaning there is no one-size fits all plan to looking and feeling your best. Figuring out what you need at this moment in your life takes some experimentation, reflection and commitment to self-care and discovery. If you don't know where to begin, begin by asking for help. I'm here for you.
